1. Information, not medical advice

The content on the NextGen Alygn website, blog, social channels, app and marketing materials is for general information only. It is not medical or dental advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a consultation with a licensed dental professional.

2. Treatment requires a clinical assessment

Clear aligners are not suitable for everyone. Whether aligner treatment is right for you can only be decided by a licensed dentist or orthodontist after an in-person clinical assessment. No treatment is started without that assessment.

3. Care is provided by independent partner clinics

Clinical care, including examination, diagnosis, treatment decisions and follow-up, is provided by independent licensed dentists at NextGen Alygn partner clinics. Treatment plans are prepared with orthodontist involvement and approved by the treating clinician. NextGen Alygn does not provide dental treatment directly.

4. Results vary

Every mouth is different. Treatment length, comfort and results depend on your individual case and on following your clinician’s instructions, including wearing aligners for the recommended time each day (typically around 20–22 hours). We do not guarantee any specific result, timeline or outcome.

5. Previews, images and patient stories

Smile previews, 3D visualisations and illustrations are visual guides only and are not a prediction or guarantee of your result. Before-and-after images and testimonials reflect individual experiences, are shared with consent, and may not be typical.

6. Risks and side effects

Like any orthodontic treatment, clear aligners may involve temporary discomfort, pressure, speech changes or other side effects. Your treating dentist will explain the risks, alternatives and what to expect before you begin, and is the right person to ask about any concerns during treatment.

7. When to contact your dentist

If you experience persistent pain, swelling, damage to an aligner, or any unexpected change, stop wearing your aligners if advised and contact your treating dentist promptly. In a dental or medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

8. The NextGen app

The NextGen app helps you and your clinic track progress and wear time. It supports, but does not replace, the care and judgement of your treating clinician.
