How to keep your aligners (and your teeth) clean

Simple daily habits that keep your aligners clear, fresh and working.

Clean aligners stay clear and comfortable, and clean teeth stay healthy during treatment. It takes a minute or two a day.

Every time you take them out

Rinse your aligners with lukewarm water. It removes saliva before it dries and keeps them fresh.

Every morning and night

Gently clean your aligners with a soft toothbrush and clear, unscented soap or a cleaner recommended by your dentist. Rinse well before wearing them.

The common mistake

Hot water can warp aligners and change how they fit. Always use lukewarm or cool water.
